Creative Textile Courses - Unavailable at present

Apologies but for the foreseeable future I am not organising any felting courses this year. When and if this situation changes I will post details here under the Courses section of the website. Details of the courses run are still available below should they again become available.

Basic Feltmaking Course

Plenty of opportunity to get really familiar with the feltmaking process. We will cover:

Pre-felt techniques
surface design
silk papermaking
cobweb felt
beads

At the end of the session we will have achieved several sample pieces and a small wall hanging.

Course Details

All courses require a minimum of four people to run. Numbers are restricted to six or seven students so that everyone has plenty of individual attention and advice.

It is always far easier to arrange a course if friends or a group book together.

Other textile courses are available on request, although these usually require a group booking.

Accommodation is available locally, which I am happy to advise on.

Pricing

Courses cost £35 per session. This price includes lunch and materials.

A ten percent discount is available for those arriving by public transport/sustainable travel.
